Accessibility statement

Dresden Marketing GmbH is committed to making its website visit-dresden-elbland.de accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Saxon Inclusion Act (SächsInklusG) and the Barrier-Free Websites Act (BfWebG) as well as the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

Status of compliance with requirements

This website is currently only partially accessible. It does not yet fully comply with the requirements of the applicable legal provisions on digital accessibility. The existing technical platform only allows further technical improvements within the scope of a cost-intensive product change, which would be equivalent to a complete relaunch. In order to meet the requirements on a permanent basis, Dresden Marketing GmbH has decided to work with a new agency. A new, accessible website is currently under development and is expected to be available by early 2026. Until the new website is completed, existing barriers on the current site can therefore only be reduced to the extent that this is possible editorially without extensive technical intervention.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is currently not accessible:

  • Some alternative texts for images and graphic elements are missing.
  • Input fields (e.g. in forms) are not always correctly labelled with descriptive labels or ARIA attributes.
  • Keyboard navigation is restricted or unreliable in certain areas of the website.
  • Some colours and contrasts do not meet the minimum requirements for sufficient readability.
  • The semantic structure (e.g. heading order) is not implemented correctly throughout.
  • Important jump marks or landmarks for screen readers are missing in some cases.
  • Interactive elements such as buttons or navigation elements are sometimes not accessible.

This assessment is based on a technical review as part of an SEO and accessibility audit (as of April 2025). The barriers identified in this audit will be removed step by step as part of the planned relaunch.
