Aurora Erbstolln visitor mine

We are the only accessible silver mine on the Silver Road between Freiberg and Dresden. Here you can discover how silver was mined in the 16th century. Contemporary witnesses such as beaten roadways and ore passages prove this. As the voyage of discovery can be embarked on with children from the age of 6, our mine is also very interesting for families. Changing special exhibitions allow you to learn something new every year. There are plenty of places to sit and rest along the mining trail at our visitor mine.
