Auf dem Windberg steht neben dem König-Albert-Denkmal auch ein weithin sichtbarer Sendemast.

Interessant für Menschen die sich mit Mobilfunk und Rundfunk beschäftigen. Die Strecke zum Sendemast ist eine beliebte Fahrradroute.  Als Betreiber des Funkturms wird bei einer Google Abfrage die Telekom genannt. Weitere Details sind derzeit nicht bekannt.
