The striking Hirschstein Castle sits enthroned on a rock high above the Elbe with a significant history and a fantastic view of the valley.
Every year, Hirschstein Castle hosts events such as concerts, book readings, exhibitions and much more.
In the period between Easter and the beginning of October, members of the "Oberes Elbtal" Hirschstein Heritage and Support Association run the Sunday information point at Hirschstein Castle on a voluntary basis. Guided tours are available on request and on Open Monument Day in September, interested visitors can view open parts of the castle.
The castle terrace offers a fantastic view of the Elbe valley.
