Museum of local history in the historic winery Weinböhla

At a glance

The museum of local history is located in the historic center of Weinböhla. More precisely, in the "Historic Weinböhla Winery".The building complex of the former winery dates back to the year 1622.

The local history museum includes:

- a main exhibition room on the first floor

- 8 exhibition rooms on the second floor with permanent exhibits on viticulture, school and church history and an extra room with old toys

- a farmhouse parlor in the attic with numerous exhibits on the living and working environment of our ancestors.

In addition, various special exhibitions are held at regular intervals in the main exhibition room.There are almost 1000 historical exhibits in the museum. Over 600 pieces are on display. The rest is located in a walk-in fundus.
