Panometer Dresden

At a glance

The Panometer Dresden is a unique exhibition in a former gasometer, in which monumental 360° panoramic images by the artist Yadegar Asisi are shown.

At the Panometer Dresden, visitors can experience impressive 360-degree panoramas at a height of around 27 meters, which come to life thanks to light and sound installations. Since 2006, large-format circular images have been shown here, visualizing historical, cultural and nature-related themes. The exhibition concept also offers accompanying media and additional thematic information that open up fascinating worlds and provide a special art experience.

As the Panometer Dresden is a former gas storage facility and therefore an industrial monument, we recommend that you wear jackets and coats in winter.
