Saxon Winegrowers' Cooperative Meissen

At a glance

The Sächsische Winzergenossenschaft is the largest wine producer in Saxony and presents its wide range of top wines in the modern WeinErlebnisWelt with vinotheque and events.

The Meißen winegrowers' cooperative stands for masterful Saxon wines, characterized by the mild climate of the Elbe Valley, sun-drenched steep slopes and famous showcase sites such as the Radebeul Goldener Wagen or the Pillnitz Royal Vineyard. Around 800 winegrowers jointly cultivate 145 hectares, or a third of Saxony's cultivated area, to produce wines full of character with great dedication.

In 2008, the WeinErlebnisWelt Meißen was created in the former electoral vineyard on Bennoweg, where this diversity comes to life. In the modern vinotheque, guests can discover the complete range, taste wines in a relaxed atmosphere or experience the impressive cellar facilities on guided tours. Cultural events, exhibitions, readings and concerts make the world of experience a lively meeting place. Various rooms and the Mediterranean courtyard are available for celebrations and conferences.
