Weinböhla has been one attraction richer since October 2020. The VELOCIUM Museum - the Saxon Bicycle Adventure World - awaits you in a listed barn.
This interactive exhibition for young and old shows exhibits from the local bicycle club and many other lenders relating to the history of velocipedes, clubs and industry - as diverse as Saxon bicycle production once was. The museum is complemented by an exciting outdoor course - called the pump track - where balance and coordination can be tested on a wide variety of bikes. The courtyard area offers seating for resting between vine trellises, while children can play and let off steam in a play area with equipment. Take a look at the historic bicycle workshop, hop on a penny-farthing or take a tour of Weinböhla on the bike simulator.
