The Loose family cultivates around 6 hectares of vines on their vineyards in Meißen and Gröbern on the Weinböhlaer Gellertberg under the motto "Wine quality originates in the vineyard".
What was once a sideline has developed into a small family business since 1990. Vines, some of which are up to 40 years old, form the basis of his best grapes. Consistent vine care in the vineyard is the basis for healthy grapes that produce first-class wines. In the cellar, under the care of cellar master Steffen Loose, varietal, mostly dry wines are produced, which are characterized by their distinctive bouquet, freshness and elegance. Goldriesling, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, Kerner, Riesling, Traminer, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder and, more recently, fungus-resistant grape varieties such as Souvignier Gris thrive in the vineyards.
