The Elbe Cycle Route is one of the most attractive and varied cycling routes in Europe.
From the Wadden Sea through the Elbe Sandstone Mountains to Bohemia, 1,270 km of diversity awaits you.
Here you can experience unique culture and vibrant metropolises, as well as the almost untouched nature
of the Elbe floodplains. Those cycling to Prague also get to know a part of the Moldau. The slight
gradient ensures relaxed hours on the bike. The Elbe Cycle Route logo shows you the way. Eighty percent of the route runs on a dedicated cycle path. The surface is mostly asphalted and therefore good to very good to cycle on. From Prague to the mouth of the Elbe, there is only a slight
difference in elevation.
