Around the Moritzburg pond landscape
Start your tour at the Moritzburg hunting lodge. The path continues to Friedewald, to the old ponds. At the Frauenteich you have the opportunity to linger at the bird watching station. Pass the pheasant castle and the large pond with the lighthouse. Continue cycling to the Sonnenland vacation park and to the "Red House" at the Dippelsdorfer pond. From there, the path leads you back to your starting point.

The cycle tour begins and ends at Moritzburg railroad station. The route first leads along Bahnhofstraße and after a short time you reach Schlossallee, which you cross diagonally to then cycle along the former horse market.
The tour then turns left and continues straight on to the castle pond directly next to Moritzburg Castle. At the castle pond, the route turns left and follows Meißner Straße to the next junction on the right. At the end of the castle pond, a forest path leads left into the Friedewald forest towards the district of Auer. After the Griesberg, turn right and head towards Altenteiche.
Now follow the forest path straight ahead until you reach a small hill on a field path. Turn right here to head back towards Moritzburg. At the middle pond, the route turns left again into the forest. Follow this path, cross the main road and continue straight on past the game reserve until you see the Fasanenschlösschen.
After this, continue straight on for a few more meters, then turn right and take the dam path over the large pond and follow the paths to Cunnertswalde and finally to the hunters' pond. Keep left here and ride for 2 km to the forest ponds. Continue following the signs to cross the main road and keep left at Bad Sonnenland.
In Friedewald, the path on the right leads over the cycle path around the Dippelsdorf pond to the small hill. Then continue straight on into the former village center of Moritzburg. Pass the village pond and keep right to cross Schlossallee in Moritzburg again and finally reach the starting point.
Weatherproof clothing recommended
Use the A4 in Dresden or take the A13 from Berlin. Via the S179 from Dresden, the S81 from Weinböhla and the Radeburger Straße from Radeburg you will reach Moritzburg.

You can reach Moritzburg with the Lößnitzgrundbahn from Radebeul Ost and Radeburg. You can also reach the starting point by bus line 326 from Radeburg and Dresden, 405 from Radeburg and Coswig, and lines 407 and 458 from Großenhain and Dresden.
