Around the Moritzburg pond landscape
Start your tour at the Moritzburg hunting lodge. The path continues to Friedewald, to the old ponds. At the Frauenteich you have the opportunity to linger at the bird watching station. Pass the pheasant castle and the large pond with the lighthouse. Continue cycling to the Sonnenland vacation park and to the "Red House" at the Dippelsdorfer pond. From there, the path leads you back to your starting point.

Die Fahrradtour beginnt und endet am Bahnhof in Moritzburg. Die Route führt zunächst auf der Bahnhofstraße entlang und nach kurzer Zeit erreicht man die Schlossallee, die diagonal überquert wird, um dann den ehemaligen Pferdemarkt zu befahren.
Danach biegt die Tour links ab und führt immer geradeaus bis zum Schlossteich direkt am Schloss Moritzburg. Am Schlossteich biegt die Route links ab und folgt der Meißner Straße bis zur nächsten Kreuzung nach rechts. Am Ende des Schlossteiches führt ein Waldweg in den Friedewald in Richtung Ortsteil Auer nach links. Nach dem Griesberg nach rechts abbiegen und in Richtung Altenteiche fahren.
Nun immer geradeaus dem Waldweg folgen, bis auf eine kleine Anhöhe am Feldweg. Hier nach rechts abbiegen, um wieder in Richtung Moritzburg zu fahren. Am Mittelteich führt die Route wieder nach links in den Wald hinein. Diesem Weg folgen, die Hauptstraße queren und am Wildgehege weiter geradeaus fahren, bis das Fasanenschlösschen auftaucht.
Nach diesem noch wenige Meter geradeaus fahren, um dann nach rechts abzubiegen und auf dem Dammweg über den Großteich zu fahren und den Wegen bis nach Cunnertswalde und schließlich zum Jägerteich zu folgen. Hier links halten und für 2 km bis zu den Waldteichen fahren. Der Beschilderung weiter folgen, um über die Hauptstraße zu gelangen und sich bei Bad Sonnenland links zu halten.
In Friedewald führt der Weg rechter Hand über die Fahrradstraße um den Dippelsdorfer Teich auf die kleine Anhöhe. Danach weiter geradeaus in den ehemaligen Ortskern von Moritzburg. Vorbei am Dorfteich und rechts halten, um die Schlossallee in Moritzburg wieder zu kreuzen und schließlich zum Startort zu gelangen.

Use the A4 in Dresden or take the A13 from Berlin. Via the S179 from Dresden, the S81 from Weinböhla and the Radeburger Straße from Radeburg you will reach Moritzburg.

You can reach Moritzburg with the Lößnitzgrundbahn from Radebeul Ost and Radeburg. You can also reach the starting point by bus line 326 from Radeburg and Dresden, 405 from Radeburg and Coswig, and lines 407 and 458 from Großenhain and Dresden.
