A fascinating hike through hidden vineyards, historical treasures, and breathtaking views in the picturesque landscape of Radebeul.

Discover hidden old vineyard walls and terraces behind dense trees on your way, testimonies of former viticulture. After the phylloxera catastrophe in the late 19th century, these vineyards were abandoned, and nature has reclaimed its territory. Various experience stations along the path describe this "vineyard in transition."

From the Albrechtshöhe you have a fascinating view over the Dresden Heath, the Dresden TV tower, and as far as Saxon Switzerland. At the traditional Hofgut „Graue Presse“, an information panel commemorates the historic wine press, which can now be seen at the Hoflössnitz Wine Museum.

Follow the enchanted forest path Straken, where remains of the historic water supply of Radebeul can be discovered. From the lower Hohlweg, you can see high on Hermannsberg the Stone Snail, an old stone construction from the 17th century that formerly served as a thieves' and fire watch and today is the emblem of the Weingut „Drei Herren“. From here, the path leads through Oberlößnitz, where Radebeul shows itself from its most beautiful side. Historic vintner houses and sights line the way through the picturesque vineyard landscape.

A highlight is the historic winery building Spitzhaus, which today houses a panorama restaurant. From the sun terrace, the impressive view reaches the vineyard site „Golden Wagon“ and far beyond Radebeul. Right next to it stands the Bismarckturm, from whose plateau the view can also be enjoyed. The path continues over the Spitzhaustreppe through the vineyard. At the Hoflössnitz, you learn more about the history of Saxon viticulture and the work of the winemakers. You can then enjoy a glass of exclusively organically produced wine on the wine terrace.

Along the Weinbergstraße, vineyards, romantic wine estates, and seasonal wine taverns are lined up. Many vintners invite you to thematic wine tastings and vineyard tours.
