Accessibility Statement
Accessibility
Status of compliance with requirements
This website is currently only partially accessible. It does not yet fully comply with the requirements of the applicable legal provisions on digital accessibility. The existing technical platform only allows for further technical improvements as part of a costly product change, which would amount to a complete relaunch. In order to meet the requirements on a permanent basis, Dresden Marketing GmbH has decided to collaborate with a new agency. A new, accessible website is currently under development and is due to be launched by early 2026. Until the new website is completed, existing barriers on the current site can therefore only be reduced to the extent that this is possible from an editorial perspective without major technical intervention.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not currently accessible:
- Some PDF files and documents are not yet accessible.
- Some content (e.g. maps or external widgets) is not yet fully accessible to screen readers.
- Alternative text is sometimes missing for images and graphic elements.
- Input fields (e.g. in forms) are not always correctly labelled with descriptive labels or ARIA attributes.
- Keyboard navigation is restricted or unreliable in certain areas of the website.
- Some colours and contrasts do not meet the minimum requirements for adequate readability.
- The semantic structure (e.g. heading hierarchy) is not consistently implemented correctly.
- Important jump labels or landmarks for screen readers are sometimes missing.
- The text displayed on the website is not additionally presented in plain language.
- Some interactive elements, such as buttons or navigation elements, cannot be focused in an accessible manner.
- Some videos and fact boxes, in which numbers are automatically incremented, cannot currently be paused.
- Not all link titles on the website have been properly maintained.
We are continuously working to improve the website’s accessibility as part of our relaunch.
This assessment is based on a technical review carried out as part of an SEO and accessibility audit using standard testing tools (e.g. WAVE, Axe, Lighthouse – as at April 2025). The barriers identified in this audit will be removed step by step as part of the planned relaunch.
