Radebeul

Where indulgence meets lifestyle

A colourful treasure on the banks of the Elbe

Nestled between vine-covered slopes and the floodplains of the Elbe lies Radebeul, the "Saxon Nice". It offers a blend of wine culture and natural beauty, cosiness and adventure. Even a stroll through Altkötzschenbroda with its colourful little houses is a colourful wonder – and a good starting point for a treasure hunt.

Wine culture and natural beauty

Radebeul is known, among other things, as the home of the writer Karl May. In spring, the adventures of Winnetou and his companions are brought to life during the Karl May Festival. At the end of summer, the town is transformed into a stage once again: at the Autumn and Wine Festival, which features an International Travelling Theatre Festival, tens of thousands of people celebrate life, art and wine.
