What you can do with us:

Digital visibility: You’ll be responsible for search engine optimisation (SEO) and GEO optimisation of our websites. You’ll use modern AI solutions confidently and responsibly.
Campaign management: You will develop, manage and monitor SEA and display campaigns, whilst keeping a close eye on the budget at all times.
Content & Storytelling: As editorial lead, you’ll create content for websites and platforms. You’ll lead and coordinate newsletter marketing.
Web & Design: You will develop modern, cross-platform online concepts, maintain our in-house websites and manage agencies in the implementation of web projects.
Data Management: You will take on project management for our data management and maintain tourism databases such as SaTourN (state tourism database) or Outdooractive.

What we expect:

Qualifications: A university degree (preferably in Business Administration/Marketing) or many years of solid professional experience in online and content marketing.
Expertise: Extensive knowledge of SEO, SEA (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and UI/UX.
Technology: Confident use of CMS (Directus, WordPress) and analytics tools such as Matomo or Google Analytics. You also have in-depth knowledge of working with AI solutions.
Communication skills: You impress with your clear, fresh and engaging writing style in German, as well as a good command of English.
Strategy: A business-minded approach, an eye for cross-platform strategies and a structured way of working.

Would you like to discover the world of digital tourism marketing and gain real-world experience? Then you’ve come to the right place! As part of our team, you’ll experience online marketing first-hand: it’s creative, varied and offers plenty of scope to contribute your ideas and help shape the work.

Here’s what you can expect:

Support with email marketing, as well as copywriting and research for our various websites
Helping to maintain content on visit-dresden-elbland.de and in our events calendar for Dresden Elbland
Data management for the website, media server and event listings
Creative social media posts for our Instagram and Facebook channels,
Hands-on experience at the Content Days: using a camera and mobile phone to film videos and take photos for our platforms

What you’ll bring to the role:

a quick grasp of new concepts, motivation and a willingness to take on responsibility
Very good written and spoken German
You are enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences.
You are available for at least three months – longer would be welcome
