Get out and have some fun
Dresden Elbland is the perfect place for great outdoor fun. Climbing parks, wildlife parks, theme parks – and we mean the word ‘park’ quite literally. Because nature isn’t just around the corner here; it’s usually right there with you. The choice ranges from a classic visit to the zoo to an adrenaline rush on a high ropes course, to say the least. No fewer than four nearby climbing parks allow the little ones (and grown-ups) to gradually push themselves to new heights – thanks to professional guidance, even without any climbing experience.

At the forefront, of course, is the beautiful River Elbe – a challenging river in some places, but often gentle and leisurely too. Also on offer: a whole host of pretty lakes and smaller rivers throughout Dresden Elbland. Open-air and natural swimming? Of course, we’ve got that here too! Treat yourself to a good dose of relaxation – and get to know Dresden Elbland from completely new perspectives.
Wakeboarding and water skiing
Cable Park Dresden
More speed, more action? Of course! Here in Dresden Elbland, there’s plenty of relaxation – but also plenty of thrills. Cable Park Dresden is a real haven for water sports enthusiasts. With state-of-the-art cable systems for wakeboarding and water skiing, it’s the perfect place for beginners and advanced riders alike.

Dippelsdorf Pond
Sonnenland Spa
Dippelsdorf Pond, part of the Moritzburg Ponds, is situated right next to the Bad Sonnenland holiday centre and offers a wide range of leisure activities such as stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing. A special feature: the 210-metre-long dam connecting Moritzburg and Dippelsdorf, which is used by the Lößnitzgrundbahn railway. You can hire the necessary equipment directly from the reception at the Bad Sonnenland holiday park.

A paradise for water sports enthusiasts too
Moritzburg High Ropes Course
Admittedly, water sports at a high ropes course might sound a bit odd at first. On the Mittelteich – which forms part of the Moritzburg high ropes course – you can try out exciting activities such as SUP, yoga on the water (or ‘WOGA’) or fitness exercises on a SUP board. Don’t worry, no prior experience is necessary. A professional introduction is always provided. You just need to bring a change of clothes. So hop on the board and don’t be afraid to take the plunge.

Always in good spirits
Elbe
See Dresden Elbland in a whole new light on a variety of tours: water sports on the Elbe are a real highlight! How about a sailing trip? Or a SUP tour with friends? And mooring somewhere for a quick snack along the way? Everything is possible, nothing is compulsory. But please always bear in mind: the current of the Elbe can be quite challenging – so take care, ideally get some professional guidance, and then have lots of fun. The view is unique!
