Armoury in Dresden Royal Palace
The collection is one of the most valuable collections of ceremonial weapons and costumes in the world and is also one of the largest.
The armoury brings together richly decorated armour, firearms, swords and sabres made of precious metals, as well as magnificent clothing and riding gear. The collection of around 13,000 individual pieces originated from the possessions of the Saxon dukes and electors.
