Castle Church of Torgau

The Castle Church is the first Protestant church building in which the spiritual program of the Reformation was vividly implemented in architecture and art for the first time
Dr. Martin Luther inaugurated it on October 5, 1544. The four-organ, built in 1994, is tuned in the middle tone range and enables the stylistically correct reproduction of organ music from the Renaissance period to works by Johann Sebastian Bach.
