Discover Dresden's art treasures in the historic Landhaus - Municipal Gallery with masterpieces from the 19th century to the present day.

The Städtische Galerie Dresden is showing around 1,900 paintings, 800 sculptures and 20,000 works on paper - an exciting overview of art from the 16th to the 21st century. The focus is on works from the 19th and 20th centuries as well as the present day. Among others, Otto Mueller, Otto Dix, Hermann Glöckner and A. R. Penck are represented. The gallery is located in the historic country house near Dresden's old town. The collection includes painting, photography, illustration and sculpture. The offer is complemented by workshops, guided tours and lectures.

You can easily reach the Städtische Galerie Dresden by tram lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 12 and bus lines 62, 261, 360 at the Pirnaischer Platz stop.
