Getting there

By car:
Follow the traffic directions to the city centre of Dresden. The museum is located in the historic Old Town district. There are several multi-storey car parks and car parks nearby, e.g. at the Altmarkt or at the castle. Pay attention to the traffic signs and parking fees.

By public transport:
Get off at the "Postplatz" stop, which is served by many bus and tram lines. From there it is only a few minutes' walk to the museum.

On foot:
The Transport Museum is centrally located in Dresden's Old Town, near the Frauenkirche. Follow the pedestrian signs or use your mobile device for precise directions.

By bike:
Dresden offers many well-maintained cycle paths. Follow the signs to the city centre or use apps like "Komoot" or "Google Maps" for a bike-friendly route. You will find bicycle stands near the museum.
