Elbhangfest Christmas Market at the Blue Wonder Bridge

In the old village centre of Loschwitz, Advent takes on an even more handmade feel. From 5 to 20 December, the Elbhangfest Christmas market brings arts and crafts, mulled wine and a cultural programme to Körnerplatz.

The Elbhangfest Christmas market is one of the lovely reasons to visit Loschwitz during Advent. Around Körnerplatz and Friedrich-Wieck-Straße, you’ll find wooden huts in the Ludwig Richter style, along with arts and crafts, stallholders, mulled wine, yeast dumplings and mini doughnuts. Set amongst the village centre, the Elbe hillside and the cultural programme, the market has a character all of its own. Those who aren’t keen on large Christmas markets will find a small, intimate version here.

Most recently, opening times were from 1.00 pm Monday to Thursday, and from 11.00 am at the weekend. Please check the website before visiting.
