Historic Green Vault

Experience the Historic Green Vault in Dresden, a fascinating world of baroque treasures.

The Historic Green Vault in Dresden offers a journey back in time to the Baroque era. It presents around 3,000 precious objects without showcases, which emphasises the authenticity of the location. The exhibition in the Treasury of Augustus the Strong extends over eight rooms, including the Amber Cabinet and the Ivory Room. The highlight is the Jewellery Room with the famous Moor with the Emerald Step. Visits are limited for conservation reasons and advance booking of timed tickets is recommended.
