"Hoffnungsschacht" adventure shaft complex

The listed mine building is being rebuilt with timber framing following its historic model. Visitors can look down into the 293-metre-deep Hoffnungsschacht, located directly beneath the former winding house. In the small mining museum you will find collected exhibits, pictures and minerals as well as the history of silver mining in the region. The cosy beer garden under trees invites you to enjoy lovingly baked cake with coffee, and various snacks with regional beers and wines. For your festive occasions, special event areas indoors and outdoors provide the right setting with organisation and catering.
