The Great Camp near Mühlberg, also known as the Zeithain Pleasure Camp, was a grand military review by Augustus the Strong, combined with a display of royal splendor, which took place from May 31 to June 28, 1730, not far from the cities of Riesa and Großenhain, between the towns of Zeithain, Glaubitz, and Streumen.
Since 1998, the AG Militärhistorik Zeithain e. V. has been organizing a “Zeithain Pleasure Camp” for enthusiasts and collectors of historic military vehicles.

Getting there
By car (from Dresden): Take the A4 toward Görlitz/Leipzig; at the Dresden-Nord interchange, switch to the A13 toward Berlin and take the Riesa/Großenhain exit. Then follow the B98/B169 toward Zeithain.
By car (Meissen/Riesa region): From Meissen or Riesa, take the B169 toward Zeithain. Once in town, turn onto a dirt road leading to the obelisk at Abendrothstraße.
