Rectory with Historic Collection – Baroque Village Church Brockwitz
Exhibition on the themes of the Elbe, viticulture on the Bosel, harvesting and the production of milk and butter. Collection of agricultural and craft tools.
With its size, the Brockwitz rectory is one of the village's striking buildings. It received its present form in 1767 after a fire during the Thirty Years' War. Besides the parsonage, the house contains two larger community rooms, well suited for work with children's groups, seniors, instrumental circles, discussion groups, as a winter church and for parish festivals. Changing exhibitions are regularly presented in the hallway. Objects from an old collection adorn the community kitchen and a small group room. There is a parish office and an old vaulted wine cellar which, like the open and charmingly designed rectory garden, invites you to stay and enjoy.
