Semper Zwei is the second stage of the Semperoper Dresden - and a creative laboratory for young music theater, new forms and fresh perspectives. Here, classical voices meet modern storytelling, interdisciplinary productions meet exciting world premieres. Families, young adults and school classes in particular will find Semper Zwei a place that makes opera accessible - close to life and open to new ideas. In the former ballet hall right next to the historic opera house, space is created for discoveries away from the familiar. Located in the heart of Dresden, just a few steps away from the Zwinger and the Royal Palace, Semper Zwei is the place for anyone who wants to experience opera in a new way.

Price information
Ticket prices for events at Semper Zwei are flexible and vary greatly depending on the format. Chamber operas, productions for young people and recitals are usually significantly cheaper than at the main opera house. Getting there
Semper Zwei is centrally located next to the Semper Opera House and is easily accessible by public transport. The Theaterplatz and Postplatz stops have excellent connections and are only a few minutes' walk away. Streetcar and bus lines run directly to the city center from both Dresden main station and Dresden-Neustadt station. Those arriving by bike will find secure parking facilities in the surrounding area. Visitors who are traveling sustainably can therefore reach Semper Zwei quickly, easily and in an environmentally friendly way.
