Torgau House of Culture

The Kulturhaus Torgau delights its visitors with many events in a historic setting.

The history of the cultural center in the heart of Torgau dates back to the 17th century. The local shooting guild obtained the land and erected the building next to the shooting range. In the centuries that followed, it developed into one of the town's most important institutions and was used for a wide variety of purposes. Torgau- Kultur e.V. took over the Kulturhaus at the beginning of the new millennium. The association organizes a wide range of events in a variety of forms and inspires guests from Torgau and the entire region with its many events. The large hall can accommodate up to 420 guests. The small hall with a capacity of 80 seats is suitable for smaller celebrations. Catering is provided by the "Restaurant im Kulturhaus", which enhances the events with culinary delicacies.
