VELOCIUM Weinböhla - The Saxon bicycle adventure world
Weinböhla has been one attraction richer since October 2020. The VELOCIUM Museum - the Saxon Bicycle Adventure World - awaits you in a listed barn.
This interactive exhibition for young and old shows exhibits from the local bicycle club and many other lenders relating to the history of velocipedes, clubs and industry - as diverse as Saxon bicycle production once was. The museum is complemented by an exciting outdoor course - called the pump track - where balance and coordination can be tested on a wide variety of bikes. The courtyard area offers seating for resting between vine trellises, while children can play and let off steam in a play area with equipment. Take a look at the historic bicycle workshop, hop on a penny-farthing or take a tour of Weinböhla on the bike simulator.

- May - October: Thursday to Sunday, 10 am - 6 pm

- Adults: 6,00 Euro
- Concessions (pupils, students, severely disabled persons): 3,00 Euro
- Family ticket (2 adults/ 2 children or 1 adult/ 4 children): 14.00 euros
- Groups of 10 or more (open top): 5.00 euros per person
- Guided tour by appointment: 9.00 euros plus entrance fee, max. 15 people
- School classes: 2.00 euros plus tour fee (supervisors free)
- Photo permit: 2.00 euros (private use, no flash)
- Annual tickets: adults 30.00 euros, reduced rate 20.00 euros
- Free admission: for children up to 6 years, one accompanying person for the disabled, tour guides and tour leaders.
Use of the outdoor area incl. pump track is included in the admission price.
