Winery Andreas Henke

The Andreas Henke winery is a family business in the winegrowing village of Sörnewitz. The cellar rooms as well as a vinotheque are located in an imposing historic waterworks

The family business was founded in 1990. A special ambience is provided by the backdrop of the historic, over one hundred years old building complex of the old waterworks, which houses the cellar rooms and a wine shop. Thanks to a constant temperature, the cellar provides the best conditions for the aging and storage of the wines. The vineyards are located in the single vineyards Weinböhlaer Gellertberg, Proschwitzer Katzensprung and Meißner Kapitelberg. Here are about 8 hectares planted with vines. The events offered include vineyard walks on the Bosel as well as wine tastings in the wine tavern.
