Rothschönberg Castle (bus stop at the Kottewitz junction approx. 900 m from the castle)

Extend your hiking experience and explore the "Triebischtal geological trail " on a second day. The 7-kilometre educational trail from Rothschönberg to Miltitz leads you past 12 information boards through the geological and mining history of the region.

to Meißen:

from Dresden: A4, exit Dresden-Altstadt via the B6 towards Meißen or A4, exit Wilsdruff via the S177 towards Meißen

from Leipzig: A14, exit Nossen-Ost via the B101 towards Meißen

from Chemnitz: A4 exit Dreieck Nossen via the B101 towards Meißen

from Berlin: A13 exit Radeburg via S177 towards Meißen

to Rothschönberg:

A4, exit Wilsdruff and e.g. via the S36 to Rothschönberg

A14, exit Nossen Ost and via Deutschebora to Rothschönberg

Meißen Buschbad:

Parking spaces are located directly at the starting point of the tour at the Buschmühle

Rothschönberg:

There are parking spaces directly at the castle. The bus stop Rothschönberg, junction Kottewitz (line 418) is approx. 900 m away.

by bus:

Bus from Meißen Buschbad: Bus stop Meißen, Buschbad with line 418 to Rothschönberg, branch Kottewitz

Bus from Rothschönberg: Bus stop Rothschönberg, Abzweig Kottewitz with line 418 to Meißen, Buschbad

Sturdy shoes, otherwise no special requirements.

In rainy weather, some parts of the path may be slightly muddy.
