A dazzling display of lights and festive cheer

When the village green in Altkötzschenbroda is aglow with warm lights, a very special time begins in Radebeul. The Christmas market in Altkötzschenbroda will take place over three Advent weekends in 2026: 27 to 29 November, 4 to 6 December and 11 to 13 December.

The Christmas market in Altkötzschenbroda transforms the village green into a meeting place for connoisseurs, families and anyone who prefers their Christmas markets to have a more personal feel over three Advent weekends. Amongst the lovingly decorated stalls, you’ll find arts and crafts, local delicacies and mulled wine from regional winegrowers. Bonfires keep hands warm, whilst music sets the mood. Children can do crafts, bake, go for a pony ride or disappear into the puppet show tent. In short: an Advent stroll amidst half-timbered houses, full of flavour and with plenty of corners to linger in.

It is open on Fridays from 4 pm to 9 pm, Saturdays from 12 noon to 9 pm and Sundays from 12 noon to 8 pm.
